November 2023: Is your place pawsitively perfect?

Here’s the Story:

Was it a desperate desire to entertain your house-bound kids that made you do it? Was it the sudden flexibility of hours and new pandemic-borne lease on life that made you take the leap and adopt a dog? And now you’re covered in dog hair, bouncing off the walls, wondering if you need to move upstate. Not to worry. We got you.

Down to the Nitty-gritty:

Dogs, like people, can be quite happy living in New York City. Just ask the hordes of New Yorkers who jumped on the pandemic puppy bandwagon in 2020! More than ever before, dogs were spotted all over the place: Pomeranians poking their heads out from designer handbags in SoHo, Labradoodles begging for dog treats outside of Park Slope bagel shops, and dogs of all breeds living their best lives in every city park. But unlike other pandemic investments (popup pools and leased cars, for example) puppies are more of a permanent addition to your family. If your home feels too small since you welcomed Fido into it, maybe all you need are a few upgrades to make pet ownership in the city work for you. We can help with that.

What’s the Takeaway?

We know from personal experience the joy of dog ownership. And whether it’s a townhome with a yard or an apartment with true dog-friendly bylaws, there is a place out there that’s right for you and your fur baby. You just have to know where to look. Give us a call or send us an email. We’ll happily help you out!

The Gabriele Moment

It’s been five years since we brought our dog Jadan home, and there’s not a day that goes by that she doesn’t bring a smile to our faces. On Thanksgiving, as always, I’m grateful for these little moments and so much else in my life. I’m grateful that I get to do a job I love and help people realize their real estate dreams. Thanksgiving is also the perfect opportunity to give back, and I’ll be making my annual donation to First Book, a charity that gives kids what they need to succeed in school. Have a favorite giving tradition? I’d love to hear about it! Wishing you all a peaceful holiday season and if you’re looking to make a move — or know of anyone who is — please keep me in mind! So thankful for every one of your referrals.
