January 2024: New Year, New Us!
What’s Happening
There are so many exciting things in store for 2024! To start the New Year off in style, Marc and I headed to The Salon for some gilded-age fun, swanky fashion, and excellent jazz. We’ve both been working nonstop (more on that in a minute), and it was such a fun way to treat ourselves. This year, I’m trying to focus on balance (I know, famous last words), so I’ll be heading to the Hannah Eden wellness retreat in a couple of weeks to get centered and find my inner fitness guru.
Life has been a whirlwind with the launch of our new development at 53 Prospect Park SW. Offers are already coming in on these gorgeous homes, and 2024 is off to a great start! I am so proud of the work we did to bring this rare offering to market. With premier finishes, keyed elevator entrances, and views of Prospect Park, it is really the ultimate in boutique condominiums. I can’t wait for you all to see it!

Have You Heard?
It’s a new world out there. Recent court rulings have put an end to the traditional practice of seller’s agents splitting commissions with buyer’s agents. Now sellers will determine if they are directly offering to pay all…some…or none of the buyer’s broker fees. Want to know how this affects you? Give me a call!
Adventures in Real Estate
One of my most memorable closings was right at the beginning of the pandemic. Vaccines were a pipe dream. Everything had to be outside. While Prospect Park was a tempting option, you couldn’t exactly scan and print from the middle of the Long Meadow! Before my buyer had a chance to panic, I thought of the solution. Working closely with the bank, co-op, buyer, and seller lawyers (we had a good working relationship from prior deals), I set up a tech hub on the garden level of my home and configured our network so that all parties were able to print, sign and scan right from my backyard. Nothing was going to stop us that day.
